Música do BioTerra: In The Nursery - Corruption
Oh do not die, for I shall hateAll women so , when thou art goneThat thee I shall not celebrateWhen I remember, thou wast one
But yet thou canst not die, I knowTo leave this world behind, is deathBut when thou from this world wilt goThe whole world vapours with thy breath
Or iff, when thou, the world's soul go'stIt stay, tis but thy carcase thenThe fairest woman, but thy ghostBut corrupt worms, the worthiest men
Oh wrangling schools that search what fireShall burn this world, had none the witUnto this knowledge to aspireThat this her fever might be it?
And yet she cannot waste by thisNor long bear this torturing wrongFor much corruption needful isTo fuel such a fever long
These burning fits but meteors beWhose matter in thee is soon spentThy beauty, and all parts, which are theeeAre unchangeable firmament
Yet 'twas of my mind, seizing theeThough it in thee cannot perseverFor I had rather owner beOf thee one hour, than all else ever
