O vídeo da canção Interlude, interpretada por Morrissey e Siouxsie, utiliza imagens do filme britânico de 1985 intitulado Dance with a Stranger (em Portugal, Dancem com um Estranho). Esta obra cinematográfica é um drama biográfico realizado por Mike Newell e conta com as interpretações de Miranda Richardson e Rupert Everett, centrando-se na história verídica de Ruth Ellis, a última mulher a ser condenada à morte por enforcamento no Reino Unido, em 1955.
A escolha destas cenas deve-se a um impasse criativo na época do lançamento do dueto, em 1994. Morrissey e Siouxsie Sioux não chegaram a acordo sobre o conceito visual para o teledisco e, devido a desentendimentos entre ambos, acabaram por não gravar qualquer cena em conjunto. Como solução, a editora optou por criar este vídeo promocional utilizando a estética sombria e melancólica do filme de 1985, que se ajustava perfeitamente ao tom da música. Curiosamente, a própria canção é uma versão de um tema original de 1968, composto por Georges Delerue para um outro filme também chamado Interlude.
