Ao transformarem um êxito pop ("Life is Life") num hino marcial opressivo, os Laibach mostram como qualquer mensagem pode ser pervertida pela propaganda militarista. O vídeo e a performance são uma sátira ao totalitarismo e à glorificação da guerra.
O aspeto mais interessante deste tema é que se trata de uma versão da canção "Live is Life" da banda pop austríaca Opus. Ao transformarem uma música alegre de "estádio" num hino militar sinistro, os Laibach criam um estilo de comentário político-artístico.
Eles usam o que chamam de "Over-identification" (sobre-identificação): adotam os símbolos do totalitarismo e do nacionalismo de forma tão exagerada que acabam por ridicularizar esses mesmos sistemas, sem nunca dizerem explicitamente se são a favor ou contra.
