Lançada originalmente em 2023 (e presente também no aclamado álbum Trouble), "A Shot in the Dark" (expressão em inglês que significa "dar um tiro no escuro" ou tentar algo sem qualquer garantia de sucesso) explora temas profundos de pessimismo, ciclos viciosos e desconforto psicológico.
A faixa aborda a dissonância emocional e a sensação de se estar perdido, avançando às cegas (o tal "tiro no escuro") por entre dinâmicas desgastantes e ambientes sombrios.
